Once we got the official word we started to tell our friends and family. Our friends and family have been there for us through each step of the way with our infertility roller coaster. We felt it was only right to include them in the exciting news immediately, especially since it happened naturally!!! This is what my friend Carolina put on the message board at work: My Beta numbers are pretty high which isn't a bad thing...but I don't know what to make of them. My first Beta was on 1/18 and it was 484 and my 2nd Beta today was 1606! Next week Wednesday I'll go in for my 3rd Beta and then the following Wednesday, February 3, I'll have my first sono!!! SOOOO excited!!! Dr. K thinks we're about 4.5 weeks along but it's hard to say. That puts my due date around Sept. 23 but that is subject to change. Since they don't know how far along I am they are basing their predictions on my beta numbers.
As soon as I found out I pregnant, I couldn't help myself. I ran to the store and bought a few toys to give to wrap up and give to Josh as an official gift. I bought some frog toys and wrote a sweet note to him to congratulate him on being a Daddy to be. He was pretty excited!!!
